Absolut Soul ist eine Gruppe von musikbegeisterten Menschen, die der Soulmusik in Deutschland einen Platz geben wollen. Die schnell wachsende Facebook-Gruppe und die Beteiligung an den verschiedensten Events unterstreichen dieses Anliegen. Dj Akim B. aka Achim Bauerkämper ist nun auch bei uns am Plattenteller. Sein Gespür für neue musikalische Trends sind der Garant für kurzweilige soulful Nächte.

Dj Akim B.
Born 1968 in Germany/Bielefeld starts his musical career 1988 in different clubs all over Germany.
In the early years he was one of the soul guys who plays house music!
In 2000 he was invited to spin at the Loveparade. In 2005 there was a break for years. After that he starts his second very soulbased career.  
He is a member of the Baltic Soul Weekender family. In 2013 he starts his radio-show Absolut Soul, every Thursday on soulpowerFM and on mondays at cruiseFM London. In 2014 MaxK aka Markus Kater and Akim B release their first song ToNight, later Akim B met Laura Jackson and Warren Benson to do DJ and artist events in Germany.
In 2015 Dj Akim B. produced some edits and was invited to play with Sarah Watts and Lloyd Attril at the Summer Soul Laboe Festival. In 2016 he played on the BolSoul Fest in Croatia.
He offers you a trip between the years. He combined fresh house music with a touch of phillysound, funk and disco!

Geboren 1968 in Bielefeld startet seine Dj Karriere 1988 in verschiedensten Clubs in Bielefeld. Stationen wie SummerSoul Laboe, BolSoul-Croatia sind nur einige Stationen auf denen er gebucht ist.
Der Sound von Akim B. ist eine melange aus Funk , Soul & House, dabei spielte er gern die Originale, aber wenn es eine bessere Version gibt wird die gespielt. Er beschreibt es als Soultrip durch die Zeit der immer in die Beine geht. Denn es geht ums Tanzen und um Soul! Und das natürlich zur besten Musik der Welt … Soul!
